Privacy Policy — Equation Pyramid

This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled by Equation Pyramid (the “App”), developed by Rolando Parame (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

Equation Pyramid is a math puzzle game. We collect the minimum information necessary to run the game and do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Game Center identity. If you choose to play multiplayer or use Game Center features, Apple provides us with your Game Center player ID and display name so we can connect you with other players. This is managed entirely by Apple; we do not store your Game Center credentials.

Information collected automatically

• Gameplay data stored locally. Settings, high scores, and preferences are stored on your device. They are not transmitted to us.
• Multiplayer session data. During a multiplayer match, game state (tile selections, scores, timing events) is transmitted directly between players via Apple’s GameKit peer-to-peer infrastructure. We do not operate any servers that receive or store this data.
• Crash logs / diagnostics (optional). If you opt in through your iOS settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports with us through App Store Connect. These contain no personal information.

Information we do not collect

• No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• No location data
• No contacts or calendar data
• No camera, microphone, or photo library access
• No custom analytics or tracking SDKs

3. How We Use Information

• To enable multiplayer matchmaking and gameplay between players
• To display Game Center-provided player names during a match
• To diagnose and fix crashes (when you opt in via iOS settings)

We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple Game Center / GameKit. Multiplayer functionality is provided by Apple’s GameKit framework. Your use of Game Center is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any other third-party SDKs, analytics providers, or advertising networks.

5. Children’s Privacy

Equation Pyramid is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Gameplay data stored on your device remains there until you delete the App.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete. To remove locally stored data, delete the App from your device. For Game Center data, follow Apple’s instructions for managing your Game Center account.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at the URL where you are reading this document, with a revised “Last updated” date.
